Having to plan a party happens to many of us at some point in our lives. Some people
look forward to the whole idea of being a party planner, while others dread the thoughts of being responsible for
being sure that their guests have a great time.
Back in the day, if your parents were gone for the weekend, you would get on the phone, calling anyone and everyone
and before you knew it, you had a party without a lot of party planning effort.
Everyone would stop and pickup drinks and party snacks and then it would be time to party. For me party
food screams pizza. So sending out for several would always be a great idea in my book.
But that was then, today being an adult makes things a little more difficult when it comes to planning a party.

Are you going to hire party caterers or are you going to make all the party food yourself? Of course there
are many options. Making all the food can be fun and rewarding, but only if you feel up to it. Even

depending on the size of the party.
Catering, could sound like the best idea, but it also comes with its own set of problems, not the least of which
is the cost. Do you have experience with the particular caterer you are going to use? If not, how about
references? Don’t overlook this very important item in your party planning frenzy. Find out exactly
what they are going to provide and what you are responsible for, you don’t want to find out the answer to that
question on the big night.
I don’t know about you, but I really like to have a good time at my own parties, as well as watching my guests
